Empress flatware, sterling silver,International sterling silver empress patern flatware, There are four "International sterling silver Empress" soup spoons, two table spoons and one fork, The soup spoons measure five and three quarters inches long and weigh 25 and one half grames, the fork measures 7 and one quarter inches and weighs 55 and one half grams and the two table spoons each measure 7 and one quarters inches and weigh 53 grams of sterling silver. The Empress patern dates from 1932

Tiffany sterling silver Persian cheese or jelly serving spoon 1878

Tiffany Persian flatware,Tiffany sterling silver marrow serving spoon dated 1878, This Persian pattern Tiffany serving spoon has the marks of Edward C Moore 1886 to 1891. This "Tiffany sterling silver" Persian pattern spoon is in very good condition measures 7 and three eighths inches long and weighs 58 and one half grams.The back of this spoon has a M Tiffany & Co sterling Pat 1878.I am not sure if this serving piece is a jelly or cheese spoon. It is curved up on both sides and rounded at the bottom.

Gorham sterling silver Medallion pattern spoon by Tiffany

Gorham Medallion pattern silver,"Medallion flatware" This antique sterling silver spoon was made by Gorham and dated 1864. The Medallion pattern was a favorite of Tiffany. It was first patented in 1862 by John Wendt on May 13th. The pattern depicts the likenesses of Roman and Greek deities. This antique Gorham spoon measures seven inches long and weighs 43 grams and is in good original condition. The back has a roaring lion engraved into it. See "Tiffany Silver Flatware 1845 to 1905" When dining Was an Art by William P. Hood Jr page 29 for a similar example of this lovely spoon
